Privacy policy
Laborpad is software that independent tradespeople and service businesses use to run their work. It is operated by Moriah LLC. This page says what we hold, why, who else handles it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated November 6, 2026
What we hold
It depends on how you meet Laborpad:
- If you sign in: an email or a phone number, a name if you give one, your language, and the devices you sign in on. If you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook, the ID that company gives us for you. We do not ask those companies for your email, name, picture or contacts.
- If a business that uses Laborpad works for you: what it enters about you, such as your name, phone, email, address, notes, messages and photos of the work.
- If you run or work for a business: schedules, what each person earned and was paid, invoices and quotes.
- If you use a booking page: what you type, whether you agreed to messages, and a one-way hash of your network address, kept for 30 days to stop abuse.
- If you get texts: your mobile number, the texts, whether they were delivered, and a record of when and how you agreed and of any STOP or START you send.
- When you use the site or app: technical records such as your network address and browser, and error reports with personal details removed.
We do not collect tax IDs, bank details, dates of birth or anyone's location. Card details for Laborpad's fee are held by Stripe, not by us.
How we use it
We use this information only to run Laborpad:
- to provide the schedule, jobs, messages, invoices, earnings records and booking pages
- to send the alerts, reminders and sign-in codes the service depends on
- to keep accounts secure, stop abuse and meet legal duties
- to fix problems and improve the service
We put no ad trackers on booking pages, and we never upload client lists to ad platforms.
Who sees what
- A business's data belongs to that business. Another business never sees it.
- A team member sees only what they need for a job, for as long as they need it.
- If someone works for two businesses, each sees only that they are busy.
Who else handles it
These companies do work for us and receive only what that work needs:
- DigitalOcean and Cloudflare run our servers and network.
- Cloudflare R2 stores photos.
- Amazon Web Services sends email.
- Amazon Web Services and mobile carriers deliver texts. They get the number and the words.
- Meta delivers WhatsApp messages. It gets the number and the words.
- Firebase and Apple deliver phone notifications.
- Anthropic does translation, drafts and post designs, if the business keeps those on. It gets words with names, numbers and addresses taken out, and photos a business has cleared for sharing or a client sent for a quote.
- Google Maps places an address on the route map.
- Stripe handles Laborpad's fee.
- Meta and Google receive what a business chooses to post or advertise, only if it connects its own account.
- Sentry receives error reports with personal details removed.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm or fraud.
We never sell personal information.
Ads from a business
When someone taps a business's Google ad and sends a request, the booking page keeps Google's click ID with that request for 90 days and tells Google the time of the request, so the business can see which ads worked. No name, phone number or email goes with it, and no Google script runs on the page.
Text messages
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Your mobile number is used only to send you Laborpad's alerts about work you hired or do, and sign-in codes you ask for. The companies that deliver the texts receive it only to deliver them.
Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, START to begin again, or HELP for help. Read the texting terms at laborpad.com/texting.
How long we keep it
We keep information while it is needed, then delete it:
- Messages: 24 months.
- Photos: 12 months, unless the business keeps them.
- Coded address marks, which hold no readable address: 12 months after the last job there.
- Security and audit records: 24 months.
- A deleted account: purged within 30 days, except the amounts and dates a business needs in its records, with no name or phone attached.
- Backups: 30 days, so deleted information can remain in a backup that long.
Your choices
- Export your data from your profile in the app.
- Delete your account in the app, or see laborpad.com/delete-account.
- If a business entered your information, ask that business to change or remove it. It controls those records. We will help if you cannot reach it.
- Reply STOP to any text, or use the link in any email from a business, to stop those messages.
- For anything else, write to [email protected].
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including Texas and California, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. We do not sell personal information and will not treat you differently for using these rights. Write to [email protected], and we will answer within the time the law sets.
Children
Laborpad is for adults running or working in a business. It is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think we hold a child's information, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.
Security
Connections are encrypted, secret details such as gate codes are encrypted when stored, photos lose their location and other hidden data when uploaded, and each business's data is kept apart by the database itself. No system is perfectly safe. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its date. If a change matters, we will also tell people who have an account.
