Laborpad, operated by Moriah LLC, sends transactional text alerts about home-service work. This page says what we send, how you agree, and how to stop.

What we send
Independent home-service businesses use Laborpad to run their work. Laborpad itself sends these texts, from its own number, to clients of those businesses and to people who use Laborpad:
- arrival updates, such as: Sample Cleaning is on the way, ETA 9:30 AM
- reminders and changes to a scheduled visit
- booking confirmations, with a link to change or cancel
- invoices, quotes and approvals of extra work, with a link to see them
- one request for a review after a finished job
- job alerts for people who run or work for a business
- sign-in codes you ask for
We do not send marketing or promotional texts. A business cannot write the words of a text or use texts for offers.
How you agree to receive texts
You receive texts only after you agree, in one of these ways.
On a business's public booking page, at book.laborpad.com, you tick a box that is never ticked for you. The box says:
Send me job alerts from Laborpad by text, WhatsApp or email: arrival updates, reminders, invoices and a review request after the job. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end, HELP for help. We do not share your number or consent with third parties for marketing. The business may also email or WhatsApp me about my work and seasonal visits, never by text.
Or you tell a business yes, in person or in writing. Before recording your yes, the business reads or shows you this, word for word:
Can we have Laborpad send you job alerts at this number, by text or WhatsApp? You'll get arrival updates, reminders, invoices and a review request after a job. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to stop, or HELP for help. Laborpad will not share your number or your consent with third parties for marketing. The business may also email or WhatsApp you about your work and seasonal visits, never by text. Terms and privacy are at laborpad.com/texting and laborpad.com/privacy.
The business then records your yes in Laborpad, which keeps when and how you agreed. You also agree when you ask for a sign-in code at this number or accept an invitation to join a business. No client is texted without one of these records.
Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking or buying anything. You can leave the box empty and still book.

How often, and the cost
Message frequency varies with your work: usually a few texts for each job.
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. Laborpad does not charge you for texts.
Stopping texts and getting help
- Reply STOP at any time to end texts. You will get one message confirming it, and none after that.
- Reply START to begin again.
- Reply HELP for help, or write to [email protected].
One number sends for everyone on Laborpad, so STOP ends all texts from Laborpad, whichever business they are about. Your other messages, such as email, are not affected.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Your number is used only for these alerts. Read our privacy policy at laborpad.com/privacy.
Delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts are sent only to US and Canadian numbers.
