What Laborpad is

Laborpad is software for independent tradespeople and service businesses. It handles scheduling, teams, client messages, invoices, earnings records, booking pages, and posts and ads.

By creating an account or using Laborpad, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy at laborpad.com/privacy. If you use it for a business, you agree on that business's behalf and confirm you may do so.

Your account

• You must be at least 18.
• Give true information, and keep it current.
• Keep access to your email, phone and devices safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• An owner is responsible for the people they add to a business.

Who is responsible for what

Laborpad is a tool. It does not employ anyone, does not hire or place workers, sells no leads, and is not a party to the work between a business and its clients or team.

Each business decides who works for it and how. It alone is responsible for following the law that applies to it, including licensing, tax and worker classification rules, and for the quality of its work and what it charges.

Earnings records, invoices and reports are records a business keeps. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice.

Licensed work

Some work needs a license in some states. Laborpad warns where it can, but that warning is not legal advice and may not be complete. A business confirms that it holds any license its work requires.

Messages

A business may message only people who agreed, and must honor every request to stop. Laborpad enforces this where it can.

Texts go out as Laborpad's own transactional alerts, under the texting terms at laborpad.com/texting. A business cannot use them for offers or advertising, or write their words.

You are responsible for having the agreement you record, and for following the laws on calls and messages when you use Laborpad to contact people.

Translation and drafts

Translation, drafts and post designs are done by an AI provider and can be wrong. A person approves what goes to a client or goes on a post. A business can turn these features off.

The fee

Laborpad costs $30 a month, flat, however many team members a business has. We never take a cut of your jobs.

A new business gets 14 days free, with no card. After that, the fee is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime, and billing stops at the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund part of a period unless the law requires it. If we change the price, we will tell you first, and you can cancel before it applies.

Money you spend on ads goes straight to the ad company, on your own account, and is your responsibility.

Your data

What a business puts into Laborpad belongs to that business.

You let us store, process and display it only as needed to run Laborpad for you, including through the companies listed in our privacy policy.

You confirm you may give us what you enter, including photos and client details. You can export your data at any time.

What you may not do

Do not use Laborpad to:

• break the law or help someone else break it
• harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or discriminate unlawfully
• send messages people did not agree to
• get around its security or limits, read data that is not yours, or disrupt it
• resell it or copy it to build a competing service

Our software

Moriah LLC keeps all rights in Laborpad, its name and its design. You may use it for your business while these terms apply. If you send us ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Other companies

Laborpad connects to services such as Stripe, Meta, Google and WhatsApp. Their own terms apply when you use them. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do.

Ending

You can leave at any time, and can export your data first.

If a trial ends or the fee is not paid, your business goes read-only: you can still see and export your data, but nothing new can be added and no messages go out. Subscribing brings it back. We may suspend or end an account that breaks the law or these terms, and where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you time to export your data.

No warranty

Laborpad is provided as is and as available. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will always work, be free of errors, or deliver every message on time. Do not rely on it alone for anything urgent or safety-related.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, Moriah LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. We are also not liable for work done or not done by a business, or for anything between a business and its clients or team.

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100.

If someone brings a claim

If your work, your content, your messages or your breach of these terms leads someone to bring a claim against Moriah LLC, you agree to cover the resulting losses and reasonable costs, as far as the law allows.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Texas, United States, govern these terms, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Texas, unless the law where you live says otherwise. Please write to us first: most problems can be solved that way.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will update this page and its date, and tell account holders about a change that matters. If you keep using Laborpad after a change takes effect, you accept it.

Language

We offer these terms in English, Spanish and Portuguese. If they differ, the English version controls.
